Vermentino is the new kid on the block in Margaret River and only a tiny amount is planted - but watch this space! It’s a variety that is so suited to the warm mild ripening conditions and it thrives here.
Harvested in the cool of the early morning and destemmed back into bins and then into the cool room for 24 hours for some extended skin contact. Then, loaded into the press via the chiller, pressed ever so gently, left to settle, then wild fermented over a 21 day period. It was then left on the lees, stirred once a week over a period of two months, then prepared for bottling. That all adds up to loads of flavour and texture!
Get ready for flavours of subtle pear, lime, tropical fruits and hints of salty seabreezes. This multi layered white has a great limey acid backbone and just a hint of minerality to finish. Perfect with BBQ seafood or sardines on toast with onion jam and celeriac remoulade!

The master has done it again. He's created a small batch beauty that will send Pinot lovers into a spin. As a notoriously delicate varietal, turning top quality Pinot fruit into something incredible doesn't happen easily.
Rod sourced the Pinot from a high altitude site in the Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago where the sun drenched aspect produces fruit with intense structure. This vintage is very floral and has brooding dark cherry layers. The palate shows fine tannins enveloped in succulent fruit and a dry lingering finish.
With those at Naked HQ lapping up this Top Shelf Pinot quicker than you can say Kiwi, you'd be wise to lock some in for your own collection soon. World class regional Pinot at prices similar to those at the cellar door simply don't happen anywhere online aside from Naked. Your Angel backing has created something special and made it accessible to all; definitely worth raising a glass to that!

Each is 500m from La Petite Mort's cellar door, including their own block of 30-year-old Chardonnay fruit. They also sourced grapes from the Bungawarra vineyard, one of the most established vineyards in the region, with vines dating back 100 years.

This is tiny volume, hand-made deliciousness by people who know their craft. Winemakers Cynthea and David Feldheim have showcased grapes from their vineyard in Beaconsfield, concentrated, ripe and delicious golden berries of sunshine.
The skilled pair have used oak to deliver the rich creaminess Chardonnay drinkers adore, and their technique and grapes have also ensured the wine is crisp and bright. Aromas of stone fruit and jasmine waft out of the glass, and the first sip feels full and lucious on your tongue. Ten months in oak allowed a delightful nuttiness, with lemon curd, mandarin, white peach and nectarine flavours dancing on our tastebuds. It’s a young, vibrant drop with just the right hint of vanilla before a zesty, mineral finish.
This is a refined wine and presents itself very differently, depending on the temperature you serve it up at. I recommend leaving it out of the fridge for at least five minutes, and enjoying the different flavours as it gently warms up.
