This medium-bodied red was created from grapes from the Hooper’s own Mt. Benson vineyard as well as the Biodynamic Vineyard belonging to a family friend in Wrattonbully.
Both vineyards sit on red sands, but with different climates. Wrattonbully is warmer, giving deep, aromatic wines, with a cherry and red berry lift. Mt. Benson is cooler, and gives the wine an aromatic backbone of blackcurrants, plum and dark berries.
The result is a delightful drop that shows off the perfect mix of warm and cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon, with a lick vanilla, clove, and tobacco from the barrel. If it was from Coonawarra, you’d pay big prices, but these grapes are arguably better - for less!

The fruit for this delightful Shiraz was hand-picked from a vineyard overlooking the majestic Lake George. The soils there are free-draining and rich in minerals, concentrating the wine and bringing it rich fruit aromas.
The wine is made with great love and attention every step of the way. The grapes are fermented in small picking bins and plunged 3 times a day by Malcolm and Carla. It’s finally matured in French oak for 10 months.
The Canberra Shiraz has a finesse and delicacy with classic pepper notes that are typical of the Canberra region. It’s complex, long and, even at early stages, balanced. Quite stunning.

Grown on his family's Adelaide Hills vineyard, this drop has the scent of cherry, herbs and a touch of something earthy. A hint of spice does wonders for the complexity of the wine, making it more than food friendly.
It's juicy, smooth and easy-drinking. The amazing length of flavour indicates the the sheer quality of the fruit that Randal has cultivated so lovingly. Enjoy!

A single vineyard Shiraz from the Orange region. Winemaker Drew Tuckwell selected fruit from the lower elevations, where it is warm enough to fully ripen Shiraz grapes while still maintaining the elegant, restrained, cool climate style Orange is known for.
Drew used several techniques to introduce complex flavours. The Shiraz was matured in a single, large oak barrel, maintaining freshness and giving it a unique texture. The result is just a hint of oak, making it very approachable. It’s a bright wine, with smoky, flinty aromas that waft out of the glass.When you take a welcome sip, there’s aniseed and spice and long, lingering flavours. This isn’t a big, bold red. It’s refined, restrained and very easy to drink.
It’s a limited release, and a great showcase of a modern take on Australian Shiraz. “It’s moving away from the blockbuster versions of the previous decade,” explains Drew. “If you can't keep your hands off it, then it is a terrific and delicious, young, vibrant wine. But it has the potential to evolve for a decade, stashed under your bed.”

Sourced from premium vineyards in Watervale and Langhorne Creek following a long, dry and cool growing season. The result is an outstanding white wine with concentrated flavours and fine, balanced acidity.
The scent of pear and honeysuckle with hints of kaffir lime and red apples will hit you first. Then, a soft and rounded mouthful of pear, fig and raw almond with gentle acidity. Very moreish!

Winemaker Brian Fletcher is always very meticulous about selecting grapes for this blend that haven’t had too much direct sunlight, making them full of wonderful, fresh fruit flavours. “Growers are as important to the process as anything,” he explains. “ It’s their grapes you are drinking and I’m the translator.”
You first experience the value of this focus when you raise your glass, with vibrant aromas greeting you immediately. Fresh cut grass, a touch of zippy passionfruit icing… this is the perfect Summertime wine.
The first sip confirms everything you hoped for. There’s a lot of bright, zingy flavours right off the top, with a beautiful hint of sherbert to make your mouth water. The Semillon has given this a nice, persistent finish, making it a wonderfully well rounded glass of wine (or glasses!)
