Drew's Story Drew Tuckwell is a multi award-winning winemaking genius! For over a quarter-century Drew has been handcrafting state-of-the-art wines from some of the most prestigious and burgeoning regions way out west in New South Wales. The last ten years alone has seen Drew rack up over 12 Trophy Awards while working his day job at one of the most celebrated wineries in the super-premium, super-cool Orange region. This totally unique tapestry of fertile soils perched on the sides of the extinct volcano Mount Canobolas is probably the only wine region in the world defined by how high it is! Yep, only grapes planted at an elevation of more than 600 metres can be defined as being from ‘Orange’. Drew wanted to make wines for Naked because “When someone actually wants to buy something that you’ve poured your heart and soul into - that’s a very special feeling.” It was the opportunity to make the wines he really wanted to make, the chance of starting again with a clean slate, and the excitement of creating his very own Kollectiv range of deliciousness that inspired Drew to contact Naked. Drew Tuckwell’s Kollectiv is just that. A collective effort by the winemaker, the grape growers of the Orange region and you, Naked Angels.
