Andrew brings a new vintage of his Hunter Chardy to those who have loved it in the past and lucky new Angels! A delicious dry white, it has lovely melon and white peach aromas and a bright core of fruit complimented by high quality vanillin oak.
The vineyard this wine is from faces due east and on a steep slope set some 200m above sea level. Easterly oceanic breezes cool the vineyard during the day, while in the evening the sun sets behind the mountains to the west, cooling it again. The climate combined with some inventive winemaking has maximised both palate and aromatic layers for your enjoyment - yum!
It's freshness, vitality and longevity are all owed to cooler than normal conditions for the Hunter. The wine's Sweet Spot status ensures serious bang for your buck, and it's a great accompaniment to a wide variety of foods or fantastic on it's own to get the party going.

Cool fermenting helped retain the Marlborough's hallmark vibrant aromas and flavours, plus three months maturing on lees to enhance it's drinkability. Citrus and melon aromas leap from the glass before the crips and dry palate delights with lively fruit layers. This baby is sunshine in a bottle!
The last vintage scored a whopping 90% buy-again rating from our beloved Angels, which is pretty tough to argue with! With elegance and finesse, this wine drips with quality. The single-vineyard 30 year old vines are located in Penwortham, at the centre of the world renowned Clare Valley. Having been matured in American oak barrels, it's a wine that has aged wonderfully and become more complex and concentrated.
Your glass will show beautifully deep crimson colours with a vibrant red hue. The fresh boysenberry aromas are complimented by chocolate, white pepper and spice. Shiraz lovers will delighted with the palate; dominated by red berry flavours, pepper and spice. Medium bodied with a long and persistent finish, this is a top class Shiraz without the top class price. Another win for the Angels who made it possible!
