The Cellar Works is a new collection of wines crafted by Adam Barton exclusively for Naked Wines. They combine fresh, innovative winemaking from a talend, passionate young winemaker with fruit selected from some of Australia's eldest wine regions.
The Cellar Works riesling is a slightly more delicate style than the Rabbit and Spaghetti, still with hints of citrus and plenty of florals. This wine is delicate and a captivating wines that shows distinctive lime and greapfruit characters as well as green apple and pear - yum!
under $10 a bottle for Angels, this wine really is a steal & we don't think will last long on the shelves!

This delicate, semi-dry white wine has been modelled on one of A & R's favourite old-world styles. It's a unique blend made up predominantly of Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Gris.
4 things you need to know before you try it... Be prepared - it's different. It's off-dry. Don't over chill it - you'll lose the delicate flavours. It's pronounced Guh-verts-trah-meener (don't be afraid - say it with confidence).
This wine has a combination of sweet spice from the Gewurtztraminer, minerality from the Riesling and broadness on the palate courtesy of the Pinot Gris.

This is a new wine from Jen's Hero range. It is an un-wooded blend of the two grape varieties.
The marsanne fruit comes from central Victoria, a fabulous vineyard that produces a fullness of flavour to it's fruit. The chardonnay comes from the Pfeiffer home vineyard which backs on to the Murray river.
Jen would describe this wine as a deliciously fresh, fruit driven wine with flavours of citrus and white peach. The palate is soft, textural, with a crisp, refreshing finish - delicious!!

Good things come to those who wait, and the wait is over! Liz saw the potential of her instantly top-rating Shiraz four years ago and was wise enough to store away some bottles. Of course, it's Angels who get priority access to the final release of her outstanding Clare Valley Shiraz.
With elegance and finesse, this wine drips with quality. The single-vineyard 30 year old vines are located in Penwortham, at the centre of the world renowned Clare Valley. Having been matured in American oak barrels, it's a wine that has aged wonderfully and become more complex and concentrated.
Your glass will show beautifully deep crimson colours with a vibrant red hue. The fresh boysenberry aromas are complimented by chocolate, white pepper and spice. Shiraz lovers will delighted with the palate; dominated by red berry flavours, pepper and spice. Medium bodied with a long and persistent finish, this is a top class Shiraz without the top class price. Another win for the Angels who made it possible!

An easy drinking Shiraz from SA with 20% of McLaren Vale fruit blended in to this wine. Designed to be drunk within the next 24 months.
It has lovely blackberry and pungent spice on the nose which continues on to the palate. This wine is very easy to drink, has good palate weight and some fruit sweetness - it is devine.
McLaren Vale has a very similar climate to parts of Italy and Spain which gives a great ability to produce some unique wines.

An experienced second generation winemaker, Sam's mantra that little things can make a big difference culminates in The Butterfly Effect. Here a small parcel (15%) underwent malolactic fermentation which contributes a butterscotch character and also adds to the softness of the wine. Delicious!
This fresh peachy Chardonnay shows a layer of creaminess and complexity punching well above it's price! This wine stands up well on it's own as a very pleasant drink.
Sam once owned and was a winemaker for a 5 star Halliday winery until he was bought out… Angels, you saved Sam and so this wine is dedicated to you!
