Last year Andrew Leembruggen quit his job at McWilliams winery in the Hunter Valley, leased a winery and was able to go it alone thanks to the support of our angels!
This Shiraz is vibrant with floral black fruits with hints of pepper and spice and has been made in to a lovely, elegant style.
The wine is from Hilltops, which is a little known region of immense pedigree... Situated in the Murray-Darling Basin, a cool climate region fast gaining recognition as a consistent producer of ultra top end wine and this Shiraz is a fine example. Impressed? You should be!

Made using a technique called 'Ripasso'. This method involves fermenting the wine with extra skins that have been air-dried prior. We air-dry the grapes into sultanas for another wine, but because there is so much flavour left in the skins, we re-use them in the Ripasso. It means 'to re-pass'
