The Lodestar Chardonnay Pinot Noir Meunier NV is an intriguing and subtly complex sparkling wine. It's pedigree comes from the premium cool climate Padthaway region of the Limestone Coast.
Hints of strawberries, citrus and French flaky pastry jump from the glass. This wine has a creamy textured palate and fine persistent bead resulting in a delectable, elegant and balanced finish.
This one can age until 2016... but why wait! It's too good not to enjoy straight away!

The small berries and thick skins of Cabernet give it, it's hallmark high intensity grippy tannins. The Merlot has thinner skin, so less tannin and when blended with Cabernet gives the wine a lovely velvety texture and lifts some of the spicy fruit cake aromas.
This wine is just $8.99 - a steal! It can be enjoyed now, but it has enough tannin and flavour to mature and evolve over 3-5 years into a softer more complex red wine.
