Winemaker Sam Plunkett has been inspired by the Victorian period. This wine provides Sam with the opportunity to incorporate new technologies and inventiveness in his winemaking to showcase wines from around the state of Victoria.
The fruit for this wine was grown on a vineyard in Central Victoria. Sam said that 'lots of reds with this much flavour and colour would be 1% higher in alcohol. I think rhis lower alcohol makes for a more sophisticated and elegant wine.'
A full bodied and rich red with a lovely velvety texture... if you love Shiraz, then you will love this wine by Sam!

The Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine was grown on three vineyards. The two elevated and cool Strathbogie vineyards give the wine it's mint and blackcurrant aroma whilst the warmer vineyard adds weight and a savoury character to this deeply coloured wine.
It has a gorgeous blackcurrant flavour with some menthol and eucalyptus notes. A full bodied red with some grainy tannis - but not agressive.
Can be cellared for up to 5 years! Sam has done it again with this lip-smackingly gorgeous red!

A unique wines from a proven vineyard in the Watervale sub-region of the Clare Valley, it has distinctive lime fruit with aromas of fresh oyster shell and rock salt.
This wine was partially fermented in oak and has been matured on lees for 3 months in order to build further depth and complexity.
Herbaceous lime & rock salt on the nose with underlying floral hints and fresh herbs. The palate is big and powerful with incisive acidity that drives a citrus crunch with great line, length and persistence of flavour.

From the renowned Margaret River wine region comes this classic blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is a bit softer than the round 2, with more complexity from some subtle oak characters.
This is a oaked SSB, so is very textured and different to mainstream SSB's. Given our competition would usually sell this for over $25 a bottle, this wine is a bargain.
As one of our archangels, Malcolm, described it 'I thought the R2 SSB was enjoyable but the R3 was mind blowing. It takes you places, it's a journey in a sip"... WOW!
