About the wine
Distinctively Riesling. Distinctively Orange NSW.
- This white is fresh, regionally expressive and mouthwateringly delicious. Sourced from Drew's favourite vineyard - high, steep and stoney and immaculately tended by an obsessive grower.
- This is distinctively Riesling and distinctively Orange. The region produces a different style to famous Riesling regions like Clare Valley and Eden Valley - intensely lemon with hints of ginger and white pepper with a dry finish.
- A Riesling of this quality and character would normally cost twice as much. But buying Naked means everyone gets a better deal!
Best before
Fantastic young and fresh but equally fantastic, in a different way, with 10 years of bottle age. It is up to you to decide how you like your Riesling and when to drink it but there is no hurry.
Serving advice
In general, we drink white wines too cold, straight out of the fridge at 4.0oC. Cold temperatures mute the complexity and detail of any white wine. Take the bottle out of the fridge, pour the first glass then leave the bottle on the table to gently warm up a little.
Food match
Riesling and seafood is an absolute winner - shellfish, crabs, flathead and other white, delicate fish are fantastic pairings.

Meet the winemaker - Drew Tuckwell
- Drew Tuckwell’s Kollectiv is just that. A collective effort by the winemaker, the grape growers of the Orange region, barrel makers, the cellar staff, the Naked Wines Team and you, Naked Angels. Without this collective effort, these wines would not exist.
- For nearly 20 years Drew has been handcrafting regionally and site-specific wines of character from the high-elevation, cool climate region of Orange. This is an area where wines can command up to $150 a bottle!
- The last 15 years alone has seen Drew rack up over 50 National and International Wine Show Trophy Awards while working his day job at one of the most celebrated wineries in the super-premium, super-cool Orange region.
