About the wine
Enfant Terrible Pinot Grigio 2024
-
A highly talented winemaker, James-Paul Marin’s Shiraz and Cabernet are hugely popular among the Naked community, so you can bet his Pinot Grigio offering follows suit. This delectable white hails from a single vineyard in the Adelaide Hills, situated on the upper slopes bordering Eden Valley.
-
Cooler than usual conditions during the 2024 season meant grapes were slower to ripen, developing more complex fruit flavours while preserving higher acidity. Grapes were also picked slightly earlier. The result? A beautifully balanced, lower-alcohol Pinot with apple, pear and citrus flavours, and a refreshing vibrancy. De-lish.
-
This Pinot Grigio is crafted as a small-batch, single-vineyard wine, ensuring exceptional quality but limited availability, so it’s bound to sell out quickly.
Best before
Pinot Grigio has made a name for itself as a light, crisp fresh and zesty wine that is suitable for drinking early. Pinot Gris however, is generally known for being richer, fuller-bodied and a little higher in alcohol so can last a little longer in the cellar.
Serving advice
Ideal to serve at 12-14 degrees, it's the perfect choice for a laid-back weekend BBQ.
Food match
Enjoy this wine with a prawn pasta or fish and chips.

Meet the winemaker - James-Paul Marin
- JP’s stellar career reaches back to 2000, but he almost walked away when corporate constraints became too much. Now, given a second chance by Angels, he’s walking to the beat of his own drum while crafting the boutique, cool-climate wines he loves.
- Extensive experience in the industry means JP has forged strong relationships that help him secure grapes from award-winning Aussie vineyards. Without being tied to one location, he’s able to select premium fruit that ensures every Enfant Terrible drop reflects the best that its vintage has to offer.
- As environmental advocate, JP handcrafts his wines using minimal intervention and sustainable techniques. Through SeedTheChange, he plants a tree for every case of wine sold – a mission that’s brilliant for Angels and for the Earth!
