About the wine
Single vineyard Pinot from the Adelaide Plains
- Made under the “Gudilly” label last year, this elegant red is back! It's been re-named - after the single vineyard in Virginia, on the Adelaide Plains, where Sorby gets the fruit. Its owner, George, is a good mate he's known since his Yalumba days.
- Four months in older French oak has added complexity to this nice, fresh Pinot Noir. Strawberry, plum and cherry flavours combine with some gamey notes to give you a balanced glassful with nice fruityness and a good finish.
- This classy drop is by a former chief winemaker for Yalumba, made with his three kids as the Adams wine legacy continues. It’s amazingly good value for a single vineyard wine from one of the trickiest of grapes to tame.
Best before
Drink now and for next 2 years.
Serving advice
Just bottled so no need to decant.I would actually advise to chill it slightly and then enjoy while it's young and fresh.
