Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Iconic Barossa Shiraz from a regional master
This wine in 3 words:
Magic: A feast for the senses
Taste: Black fruits, spice and oak
Food: Charcuterie
- Sourcing pristine grapes from some of the best vineyards across the Barossa Valley has given Josh a raft of diverse fruit characters to play with. The result is a classic rich and regal Barossa Shiraz that captures the essence of the iconic wine region.
- Matured for the most part in old French and American oak barrels, this deep red gem is bold in flavour but soft and smooth on the tongue. Get your senses ready for loads of juicy black and blue fruits with some hints of spice and smokey oak. Truly delicious.
- This is one of the most famous styles of wines in the world now, along with the likes of Burgundy, Tuscany and Bordeaux. With the ability to age for 10+ years, this is a supreme Barossa Shiraz you can enjoy with your friends over dinner or tuck away and keep just for yourself!
Best before
Drink now or cellar for 5-7 years.
Serving advice
Open the screwcap, pour into a glass and enjoy!
Food match
Any red meat or charcuterie will work well with this wine. We have a great butcher in the Barossa who make an awesome garlic Mettwurst, which is a local salami-like treat that goes really well with this wine..

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Josh Pfeiffer
- When the pandemic left Josh’s family wines in need of new homes, Angels came to the rescue and scooped them up. His brush with Naked freedom was enough to make him want to stay, and it was a special day when Angels welcomed him to the family for good!
- Josh is a talented winemaker with four generations of Barossa grape-growers blood flowing through his veins. He’s taking a fresh approach to traditional wines, backed by barrels of passion and industry know-how from iconic wineries.
- From growing up on a Penfolds vineyard to working at Henschke and helping put his family winery on the map, it’s no surprise he landed a spot on the Top 50 Young Guns of Wine list - three years in a row. What a rockstar!
