Four Men and a Shed Back of the Shed Shiraz 2021
-
This stunning Barossa Shiraz comes courtesy of Stuart Bourne, the 2020 Barossa Winemaker of the Year. He’s one of our top Winemakers and as a very special treat for our 10th Birthday this year, he crafted this VIP, limited release bottle. It’s a spectacular example of what this iconic region (and winemaker) can deliver.
-
Treated with the utmost respect for the fruit and the region, this glorious red will put a huge smile on your face. One sip will reveal why Stuey has earned such acclaim! With beautiful crimson hues and wafting aromas of blackfruits, this is firm, ripe and full in your mouth. The flavours will linger for quite some time - delicious.
-
This wine was made with a wonderful tapestry of carefully chosen Barossa Valley and Eden Valley Shiraz grapes. Round, soft, rich and smooth, it’s exactly like a Barossa Shiraz should be. “Every now and then we get parcels of wine that rate very highly, so we put them in the ‘Back of the Shed’ for further consideration,” explains Stuey. “Once matured, we then blend them to create something special.”

Only the best fruit from the best family vineyards gets into this exceptional wine. The individual grape parcels were open fermented, basket pressed and aged in French and American oak for almost 2 years before meticulous blending.
It’s a complete joy to drink — rich and ripe, bursting with dark berries and classic oakyness that lingers like a stolen kiss. The grip of drought in 2019 reduced the grape volumes but pushed the flavours into overdrive.
- Treated with kid gloves once in the winery, this generous red will truly astound and delight your taste buds. One sip will reveal why Stuey won the title 2020 Barossa Winemaker of the Year!

Tim Smith The Triplet GSM 2021
-
The fruit for this classic Aussie drop comes from ancient Barossa vines. At up to 85 years old, they’re very rare!
-
Ageing in large barrels and a longer than usual maceration (softening) process for the Grenache grapes have made these red fruit flavours sing, with strawberry characters that swirl around your glass and a hint of cedar from time spent in oak.
-
Made exclusively for Angels, this beautifully balanced blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro is only available in tiny quantities that sell out vintage after vintage. If you love a vibrant Barossa red, you won’t want to wait around!

Hearts & Bones Angeli Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
- Cabernet Sauvignon and Margaret River go hand in hand, and the whole wine world knows it! Renowned for its perfect growing conditions year in year out, there is little wonder that Stuart has hand-selected local grape sites for this show stopper. After the juice spent 24 months in French Oak to integrate the bolder notes, Stuart's labour of love has resulted in a dense drop that is perfect in every way.
- The depth and dimension of the wine's aromas suggest that this is something serious and long living. Your glass will fill with layers of red and blueberries, blackcurrants and a touch of nutty spice. Everything comes together like the sweetest choir you've ever heard!
- All this class has fantastic length and finishes with abundant fine grained tannins. In some ways the wine is brooding and introspective, and in other ways it's bursting with vibrance. Sophisticated and seductive now, it will only get better with age!

Sam Plunkett Tait Hamilton Vineyard Shiraz 2020
- Hand grown and picked by Tait Hamilton whose family vineyard is on the prestige soils of Heathcote. Tait is a hardworking and careful grower, and he has a site which is an incredible gift from nature!
- Your glass will be boldly coloured with youthful magenta on the rim. Scrumptious layers of plum, blackberries, chocolate and raisins will sing along with earthy, peppery hints. Tannins are ripe and plush, lending texture to round out each powerful, flavour packed slurp!
- The low pH of Tait's fruit is associated with bright colour and 'stable' wine which can almost make itself with minimal intervention - the challenge is not messing up the natural gift. The wine is full bodied with warmth from ripe fruit and subsequent high alcohol. Time spent in new an one year old oak barrels has given it a moreish, smokey finish. Go on, treat yourself to the tip-top of Naked's shelves!

Anthony Murphy Great Western Shiraz 2018
-
Anthony's winemaking love affair with Shiraz has prospered since the early 80's, driven by his friend Kym's unparalleled local growing expertise.
-
Kym's passing in 2013 rocked the Victorian winemaking community. Few tributes could honour this talented viticulturalist more than a wine like this - it’s his fruit and of course it’s charming, generous and full of life, like him.
-
This gorgeous Shiraz was aged in French and American oak for 18 months before going into the bottle for a nice quiet rest. Get ready for ripe berry fruit flavours, a touch of white pepper and spice and a long, smooth finish. An aged beauty!

Scribe by Paul & Ralph Barossa Valley Shiraz Cabernet 2018
- It’s not often a perfectly aged big red like this comes along! Winemakers Paul & Ralph have ‘been there, done that’ with some of the most admired wineries in the land and have 65-odd years of combined experience.
- Premium Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes from the Barossa and Eden Valley regions went into this deliciously aged example of a premium Barossa Cab Shiraz. 11 months in oak barrels have finished it off in style.
- It’s packed with heady flavours of ripe redcurrants and dark juicy plums. You should be able to pick up a floral note as you open the bottle too. Fabulous tannins will grip and linger on your tongue — and you’ll love it for it!
