For years, their dream was to one day make their own wine. Fast forward to the present and they're finally living that dream with thanks to the backing of Naked Angels. Their wine is dedicated to their family, and of course any Angel who has helped make their wine possible!
In just 4 high paced years, the couple have gone from producing a handful of Pinot Noir cases to quenching the thirst of 1000's of people around the country. In 2016 they clocked up their 1 millionth bottle sale through Naked - yes, 1 million! As one of the very first teams to hop aboard the Naked train, Adrian and Rebecca continue to amaze, inspire and often fill our glasses here at Naked HQ!
Adam Barton began as a winemaker largely as a result of tasting a glass of the 1965 Lindemans Hunter River Burgundy which he described as "magic". Based in the Clare Valley, Adam has the freedom to explore different variteals and keep pushing the boundaries of experimentation to the delight of Angels' taste buds everywhere.
Winemaking since 2001, the reason Adam's wines are so special is due to carefully selected vineyards, passionate grower partners & lots of care and attention to the smallest detail in the winery.
Adam's Rabbit & Spaghetti range of Red wines are consistently loved by Angels, garnering a mammoth 90% or more buy-again rating year in, year out!
Growing up in the beachside suburbs of Perth, Rory Clifton-Parks developed an early love of the salt, sand and sun that his coastal surroundings enveloped him in.
Rory has been winemaking for 15 years now, having first started working for Evans and Tate and Boar's Rock in Western Australia.
Rory strives to make high quality wines which reflect the terroir of the region. With some of the best facilites Margaret River has to offer, Rory gets great satisfaction from seeing fruit processed through to the final bottled product.
Born and bred in the Upper Hunter Valley, Ash worked in local vineyards while helping to establish his Family Vineyard.
Ashley is one of the most passionate people we have ever met. When asked what he loved most about his job, his answer was "Everything! I love the action during vintage and the progression of grapes becoming a bottle to enjoy. I love the diversity and the abstract thinking you can put into creating a wine product. I also love the diversity of the people that work in the industry and how winemaking makes me feel complete in my life".
What's the difference between Ash and the rest? His grapes are from organic vineyards and are made using fully certified organic practices!
Bill & Claudia embody the down to earth, family spirit that has driven Naked from the get go! They love the opportunity to create wines they want to make without the compromises of working for a big corporation or the struggle of being too small.

Angel funding has given Jock winemaking autonomy, allowing him the freedom to move from vineyard to cellar to business work as necessary. He can now prioritise the quality of treatment given to each new parcel of grapes without excessive market pressures, ensuring a delicious wine for any Angel's glass every time!
Leighton Joy's passion is to make wines the way that he wants to make them, filled with honesty and integrity. As his wines are from Single vineyards, each bottle is an expression of both the location and himself.
Over the years, Leighton has stacked up the awards - including the Western Victoria Wine Challenge trophy for Best Shiraz and Best Wine!
At the end of the day, the most important thing to Leighton is your reviews and feedback. It helps him grow, craft and create truly beautiful wine.
Naked funding will allow Paul’s expertise to be enjoyed by more than a few hundred people - before he became Naked, Paul created miniscule amounts of wine (in some cases as little as 40 dozen for one wine).
Previously working for big wineries like Houghtons and Goundreys, in 2009 Paul turned his attention to creating his own, highly boutique wines from the oldest vineyard and cellar door in Denmark (WA).
His first year as a go-it-alone winemaker saw his winery listed as a James Halliday Top 10 best new winery and Dark Horse winery. Paul was a man with experience, talent, and absolutely no money for grapes. Now thanks to you he has the support he needs… which means you’re in for a treat!

In 2015, we put the power in your hands to vote for the first ever Angel chosen winemaker. It took just 4 hours and 16 minutes for Angels to give Kym Carr the thumbs up.
Kym's story was one of incredible talent, utter heartbreak and unwavering determination... As a young winemaker, Kym had a winemaking world at her feet. She was winemaking for award-winning wineries Vasse Felix and Deep Woods Estate, leading to a nomination for young winemaker of the year in 2006.
A few years later, Kym's life was monumentally changed by the passing of her younger sister. Her sister's final wish was that she carry on with life, making the most of each day by working towards her passion.
Now a mother of two, Kym reached out to Naked as she still harboured dreams of jumping back into the wine game to create her own boutique label, packed with unique wines that are happily just a little far left of field for the big wineries.
