Hamish is a proud 5th generation grower and winemaker from one of Australia’s oldest wine families. He helped build Best’s Wines into a James Halliday 5-star winery, making multi award-winning wines.
Like most dyed-in-the-wool wine kids, Hamish started out scrubbing barrels and pruning hundreds of unruly vines. As the years passed, his responsibilities grew and he learnt the business inside out and back to front, including a vintage in France to round out his experience.
Hamish loves the whole process of making world-class wine and its connection with a place, but it's the people who drink his wine that really make his day.

Paige has a heritage that stretches back to German settlers who were growing grapes and making wine here in the 1890s, but she didn't know that until recently! She lives on a vineyard in McLaren Vale with Mum Jenny, surrounded by fantastic old bush vines.
Paige is a shining example of today’s young winemaking talent. In 2017, her first Rose made the list of Hot 100 Wines in South Australia. Her wines sing of the land where the grapes were grown - well-managed sustainable vineyards the popular Murray Darling wine region. Delicious and with vegan credentials to boot, they represent incredible value for money!
Getting Naked is a real thrill for Paige and she can't wait to hear from the Angels - "Education and interaction with wine lovers and people who are just starting to dip their toe into wine is the best part of my career, and the part that impassions me.”

He’s had a stellar career working vintages in big wineries in Italy, the US and Canada, as well as here in Australia. When he tired of years sleeping on other folks' couches, he settled down in South Australia and worked his way up the ranks to Chief Winemaker.
With a ton of medals under his belt and all the right connections, he’s struck out on his own. Now he makes his own wines for us that are fun and interesting to drink. And you can be the judge of that!

Phillip left his corporate life to travel the world, working with world-class winemakers to learn how to make the best Pinot Noir he possibly could.
For 18 years, he lovingly tended his grapes, crafted stunning wines and built up a Halliday 5-star winery, making arguably one of the country's finest Pinot Noir wines.
When he found himself having to start from the ground up again, he sourced premium fruit from one of the best vineyards in the Yarra Valley, borrowed Sam Plunkett’s sheds, and is crafting his exquisite Pinot Noir once again. But only for us!

Nina Stocker and Kate Day are multi award-winning winemakers whose lives have been inextricably linked since they became besties at Uni. They've since chalked up more than 30 years combined experience in some of the greatest and most historic winemaking regions on the planet in France, Italy, the US, Portugal, NZ and here in Aus.
Nina became Chief Winemaker for Catalina Sounds, Crowded House and Nanny Goat in NZ, scoring the prized Air New Zealand Trophy for Best Sauvignon Blanc. Kate was winemaker at the esteemed Willunga-100 winery in McLaren Vale when two of her wines were finalists in the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy. But creating a wine label together was their elusive dream.
It finally became a reality the day they knocked on the door of Naked HQ. Within minutes of trying their wines and realising what a truly formidable team these two made, the Two Pairs deal was done and dusted. And the name Two Pairs? A chance meeting at Kate’s wedding where Nina meet, and then married, the best man - Kate’s husband's identical twin brother. Thus creating... two pairs!

Paul and Ralph came on board in 2019, bringing a combined 65 years experience with some of the most admired wineries in the land. They’d made the big leap out on their own a few years before — their exquisite wines catching the attention of top wine critics right away. In 2015 they were awarded a Halliday 5-Star Rating and Top 10 New Wineries listing.
But it’s one thing to make award-winning wine and another thing entirely to get it into the hands of people who’ll love it. That’s where Naked swooped in and connected them to wine-loving Angels across the land. “Getting Naked means we don’t have to go through the normal wholesale and retail gatekeepers before we get real feedback on what we are crafting,” explains Ralph.
Their partnership is proof there is no substitute for experience - across every touch of their wine. The two are focused on creating wines that are truly authentic to their variety and where they were grown.
