There’s a reason Sam Plunkett’s a Naked favourite

Ever wanted to make wine? Now’s your chance! Sam will take you on an insightful day out, where you’ll stomp, swirl, sample and swoon.

Begin with Sam taking you on a tour around the winery. From then, you’ll be “gettin’ grubby with grapes’, as you taste the 2025 juice and ferments, experience punchdowns and pumpovers and if there’s fruit available, you’ll also crush and press this year’s vintage. (Pack a change of suitable clothes and/or swimming costumes if you choose to stomp some grapes as you may get dirty!)

Following your genuine hands-on taste of life as a winemaker, you’ll sit down for an enjoyable lunch of grazing boards, matched with wines (of course). You’ll have the chance to chat more with Sam and ask him everything you’ve ever wanted to know about winemaking, before making your way to an afternoon of barrel tasting.

It's best to come prepared

  • Wear sturdy, closed shoes

At a minimum, sports shoes, but we would prefer if they’re more like work or hiking boots for safety reasons.

  • ....and comfy working clothes

Long, lightweight pants and long sleeved shirt. You may get dirty, so bring a change of clothes if you prefer too.

  • Sun protection is a must

A wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

  • Pack the swimwear

There’s a river to enjoy a dip in after all that tasting!

  • Safety first

If you have specific allergies (especially to things like bees, wasps or other stinging insects), please ensure you bring your own medication.
