About the role

This role will own, drive and execute the local optimisation and continuous improvement roadmap to deliver an exceptional shopper experience and growth in our key ecommerce metrics.

Working closely with stakeholders across the AUS business to ensure the suitability and success of projects as well as fostering a deep understanding of customers journeys, digital experience and test and learn best practices, this role will also have strong working relationships with our globally based product teams.

Manly, Sydney AU (Work from home Hybrid)

Our beachside offices are located in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, approximately 30min via ferry from Sydney’s CBD (which we love!), so a lunch time swim or surf is always on the cards.

You’ll be expected to:

  • You will shape and execute the local optimisation roadmap ensuring alignment with your internal stakeholders and ensuring initiatives fall inline with wider business objectives
  • Work with local stakeholders to identify opportunities for A/B testing and optimisation, with focus on tests and initiatives that drive significant improvements to customer experience and key metrics
  • Ownership of the end-to-end testing execution of local roadmap from discovery, MVP and implementation ensuring best practice A/B testing principles are adhered to
  • Work with local and global BI to define KPIs, analyse impact and provide insights, opportunities and recommendations for further optimisation and testing
  • Monitor tests in play and provide efficient delivery of reporting to key stakeholders frequently including recommendations
  • You will be the local contact for our global product teams (across key areas - 1st order experience, subscription, personalisation and repeat shop) identifying opportunities to feed local requirements and ideas into globally established roadmaps as well as drive the implementation of deliverables from these teams into the AUS market
  • Partner with UK/US local continuous improvement/optimisation teams to share best practices, learnings and identify new opportunities
  • Know your customers and their problems. Truly understand our user segments and their wants, needs and pain points by partnering with our in-house user research, design and customer service partners to lead an outcome-driven approach to optimisation roadmap

  • 2-3 years experience digital optimisation or digital marketing and UX best practice

  • Creative, able to think outside the box and come up with ideas
  • Are a structured and lateral thinker who is able to adapt to a rapid pace (read: you don’t crack under pressure (i.e. laughs, doesn't cry) when holding 12 plates that are spinning at the same time, while standing on the tip of a rocket at launch)
  • Understanding of statistical methodologies behind testing and optimisation
  • Organised, with a structured approach to their work and strong time management
  • A team player, willing to get stuck in and support the wider team
  • Proficient in Excel, with SQL experience being a bonus
