About the role

The purpose of this role is to own, develop, implement and optimise our affiliate strategy to achieve incremental Angel growth and revenue (introducing more Australian wine drinkers to Australia and New Zealand’s best independent wines and in turn enabling us to liberate more incredible independent winemakers) . We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of D2C affiliate relations, partners/platforms and optimisation who is excited to deliver real impact as part of a growing and ambitious ecommerce organisation that has its mission set clearly on disrupting the industry by doing good.

Location

Manly, Sydney AU (Work from home Hybrid)

Our beachside offices are located in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, approximately 30min via ferry from Sydney’s CBD (which we love!), so a lunch time swim or surf is always on the cards.

We’ll love you because you:

  • Have a deep knowledge of Affiliate Marketing in Australia
  • Develop our affiliate strategy & partners to Identify, negotiate, and build opportunities
  • Prioritise execution strategy based on revenue potential
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships, commission agreements and promotions
  • Day to day direct and network partner management and program recruiting
  • Manage the Affiliate budget, oversee pacing and optimise according to revenue and payback targets. Provide monthly program performance and spend forecasting
  • Think out of the box to develop and test new partnership strategies across new channels
  • Monitor affiliate activity, analyse performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues
  • Work across the broader marketing team to manage and optimise creative and content assets.
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports showing Affiliate Marketing results and produce a weekly and monthly action plan
  • Perform Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with Key Partners to encourage loyalty and identify opportunity and risk

Your team

  • You’ll report to the Head of Growth
  • Work closely with the local and global Marketing teams to optimise Affiliate performance
  • Be part of a multi-functional team with plenty of opportunities to develop and grow

Requirements

  • Affiliate marketing experience for a D2C company
  • Proven knowledge of the Australian Affiliate Marketing landscape
  • Have a proven track record of building relationships and effectively communicating to key leaders and partners
  • 3+ years of experience managing affiliate marketing programs is desirable
  • Experience in establishing growth strategies, financial budgets and driving commercial outcomes
  • Strong Analytical skills, including the use of web analytics tools, financial analysis, and forecasting.
  • Experience with advanced marketing analytics, multi-touch attribution and incrementality concepts
  • Experience working with and leveraging pixels, APIs and feeds
  • Experience with Partnerize, Optimise Media, Impact, ROKT and/or similar platforms
  • Exposure to Intelligent performance monitoring and fraud identification
  • Project management experience is desirable
