This is a complex, layered Chardonnay. It showcases grapes from Mount Barker, the coolest of WA’s Great Southern subregions. The Collector Chardonnay grapes come from low yielding 30-year-old vines with a high natural acidity and fruit purity. Winemaker Coby Ladwig has delivered a wine with an elegant bouquet of stone fruit, citrus blossom and toasty notes. In your mouth, this wine has both elegance and power, combining a flinty undertone with white peach and wild ferment flavours.
To make the most of its wonderful flavours, just chill this drop slightly, to 15 degrees. It was fermented in French Oak barrels with 40% new oak. While it was busy doing its thing to become delicious, Coby gave it a stir after a few months which gave the wine some great weight and texture from the lees.

This is tiny volume, hand-made deliciousness by people who know their craft. Winemakers Cynthea and David Feldheim have showcased grapes from their vineyard in Beaconsfield, concentrated, ripe and delicious golden berries of sunshine.
The skilled pair have used oak to deliver the rich creaminess Chardonnay drinkers adore, and their technique and grapes have also ensured the wine is crisp and bright. Aromas of stone fruit and jasmine waft out of the glass, and the first sip feels full and lucious on your tongue. Ten months in oak allowed a delightful nuttiness, with lemon curd, mandarin, white peach and nectarine flavours dancing on our tastebuds. It’s a young, vibrant drop with just the right hint of vanilla before a zesty, mineral finish.
This is a refined wine and presents itself very differently, depending on the temperature you serve it up at. I recommend leaving it out of the fridge for at least five minutes, and enjoying the different flavours as it gently warms up.

Winemaker Rob Paulazzo’s Tumbarumba Chardonnay is an absolutely exceptional White wine and makes its welcome return to Naked’s shelf with this 2024 vintage. This is a true Chardonnay for Chardonnay lovers, made in very limited quantities. It’s also the only Tumbarumba Chardonnay on Naked’s shelves - and the region is one of Australia’s best for premium Chardonnay grapes. Located at the foot of the Snowy Mountains in Southern NSW, it’s one of the highest altitude, coolest climate regions in the country. That means a wine that’s crisp, with sensational natural mineral acidity and quality flavour.
“The weather in the lead up to the 2024 vintage was cool and mild,” reveals Rob. “That helped the grapes produce excellent flavour, while also maintaining the region’s typically high natural acidity.” The consistency in ripening led to optimal flavour and grapes that Rob says were simply “outstanding.” Rob’s access to these single vineyard grapes saw previous vintages of this wine rack up a legion of fans, and a swag of gold medals at wine shows too. “It gets the royal treatment from vineyard to bottle,” he says, proudly.
The Chardonnay has delectable aromas of grapefruit and white nectarine, combined with green melon and hints of cashews and toasty oak. In your mouth, you’ll also enjoy crisp flavours of green apple, fig and honeydew melon. That legendary mineral acidity meets with a creamy texture and nutty oak, providing wonderful balance to this long, complex and structured drop. Welcome back… or welcome to the club!

A careful blend of four different parcels of Chardonnay grapes, handcrafted by wine expert Daryl Groom. The former chief at Penfolds selected fruit from four different vineyards in the Russian River Valley in California, each distinctly different and each delivering its own unique and valuable flavour. Gorgeous tropical fruit aromas waft out of the glass, accompanied by oak and a hint of buttered popcorn.
This is a distinctive and classic Chardonnay, or as Daryl puts it so well, “When you smell and taste it, it says ‘I am Chardonnay.’” It’s not over the top with oak or butter flavours, nor is it lean and simple. Instead, it’s rich, full bodied and delivers great length.
All the highest quality ingredients went into its creation - new French oak, expensive grapes from a superb region and top notch, expert winemaking. “I tried very hard to make this wine a great crowd pleaser and a wine that is best enjoyed young,” explains Daryl. We need no further invitation!

The grapes for this wine hail from a close planted coastal vineyard. The wine was fermented and aged in 500 litre puncheons instead of bariques, which has developed a wine with lovely weight and texture. This was a low yield of grapes, which has led to a wonderful wine overall that pairs well with fresh seafood.
There’s a bright citrus on your first sip, and the wine builds gently on your tongue. It’s got a long finish, but is beautifully balanced with excellent cleansing acidity. Don’t drink this wine too chilled - it will benefit from half an hour out of the fridge before you sip (if you can resist it!).
Winemaker Mike Paterson has always aimed to showcase his beloved Marlborough region in New Zealand. "Our ambition with Lay of the Land wines is to represent the pureness of Marlborough's striking landscape, but with balance and texture and in turn immeasurable drinkability." The fact that the wines have attracted international awards is just a bonus!

The Chardonnay was grown in South Australia's coolest maritime climate, Mount Gambier. Warm windy days in summer limit berry size and provide greeat flavour concentration, then the very cool nights help retain the natural grape acidity levels during the ripening period.
The wine is bright straw in colour with complex aromas of tangy peach and cream mingling deliciously with hints of citrusy zesty grapefruit, all driving through to a long and complex finish.
The natural acidity is fresh and lively but not sharp, more soft and textural from 12 months aging in barrel. Finally, the wine finishes with flavours of roasted almonds and a fine chalky minerality.
