Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
A match made in heaven - well, Margaret River!
-
Roughly 4km from Margaret River and the ocean is winemaker Ben Gould's estate. Certified organic and biodynamic, Ben takes pride in ensuring his fruit is as pristine as possible, to maximise the taste of his wines. His Semillon Sauvignon Blanc was made using grapes from a single block of Semillon, and two blocks of Sauvignon Blanc, allowing a wonderfully consistent flavour profile. The grapes are "a match made in heaven, well, Margaret River, and that's pretty close!” laughs Ben.
-
This is a harmonious blend of the two types of grapes - with aromas of citrus and fresh herbs wafting out of the glass. When you take a sip, you'll enjoy flavours of zesty lemon, green apple and hints of tropical fruit, all framed by a refreshing acidity. There's a very subtle grassy undertone that is the signature characteristic of this iconic Western Australian region too, making this estate grown and bottled wine a total delight.
-
This is brilliant served nice and cold, and is a little crisper than a typical Sauvignon Blanc. Nurtured in soils rich with coastal sand and gravel over granite, the extra hit of acid makes it perfect to pair with creamy foods, cheeses and rich fish. That means that although it's a perfect Summer white, you can also enjoy it over a hearty Winter's meal too!
Best before
Smash it young while it's zippy, bright and full of energy-that's how we love it. You could hold onto a few for 2-3 years if you want a softer, rounder ride, but honestly, this wine is all about now.
Serving advice
No need to overthink it-twist the cap, pour it cold, and let it rip. A bit of air in the glass brings out the fruit, but honestly, it's ready to go from the first pour. Best enjoyed barefoot, preferably with sand between your toes.
Food match
Pairs beautifully with grilled WA whiting and chips, a big plate of garlicky prawns, or a crisp, crunchy green salad on a warm day.
