Ashley Horner Family Reserve Hunter Organic Viognier 2016
About the wine
Single vineyard stunner with layers of love
- This dreamy drop was hand picked and packed from Ash's family owned vineyard at the base of Mt Dangar, so you know a whole lot of love has gone into it's journey from vine to bottle!
- Maturing on lees and fermenting in French oak gifted it aromas of pear, apple and apricot. Certified organic, it's a bundle of Top Shelf quality that is just the ticket if you're a Chardonnay lover looking to venture out to a similar varietal.
- The palate brings a complex textured array of flavours each perfectly arranged and structured. Flavours like pear, green apple and citrus pop through with delicate hints of oak. With the backing of Angels, Ash has once again delivered a breathtaking wine fit for royalty!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ashley Horner
- Born and bred in the Upper Hunter Valley, Ash worked in local vineyards while helping to establish his Family Vineyard.
- He's one of the most passionate people we've ever met! When asked what he loved most about his job, his answer was "Everything! I love the action during vintage and the progression of grapes becoming a bottle to enjoy. I love the diversity and the abstract thinking you can put into creating a wine product. I also love the diversity of the people that work in the industry and how winemaking makes me feel complete in my life".
- What's the difference between Ash and the rest? His grapes are from organic vineyards and are made using fully certified organic practices!
