Andevine Hunter Chardonnay 2015
About the wine
Fresh and fun Hunter drop!
- Andrew brings a new vintage of his Hunter Chardy to those who have loved it in the past and lucky new Angels! A delicious dry white, it has lovely melon and white peach aromas and a bright core of fruit complimented by high quality vanillin oak.
- The vineyard this wine is from faces due east and on a steep slope set some 200m above sea level. Easterly oceanic breezes cool the vineyard during the day, while in the evening the sun sets behind the mountains to the west, cooling it again. The climate combined with some inventive winemaking has maximised both palate and aromatic layers for your enjoyment - yum!
- It's freshness, vitality and longevity are all owed to cooler than normal conditions for the Hunter. The wine's Sweet Spot status ensures serious bang for your buck, and it's a great accompaniment to a wide variety of foods or fantastic on it's own to get the party going.
