About the wine
Premium aged Coonawarra Cabernet that just oozes class
This sophisticated Cabernet showcases the best Coonawarra has to offer - single vineyard, from a great vintage, aged to perfection over 5 years… but there’s very little available. One for the true red wine lover, if they're quick!
Luke selected the best fruit from the best vines in the 60 yr old vineyard where he grew up. Painstaking winemaking has been followed by a long snooze in top notch French oak for 2 years.
This wine just oozes class. Dark berries, intense liquorice and chocolate, and a savoury hit of spice and blackberry cassis. Earthy undertones with leather and tobacco are served up with a long, smooth finish. Just gorgeous.
Best before
With already 5 years under its belt this has been cellared for you. Ready to drink now but could easily go another 10 years. If you are patient enough, keep it for a special occasion.
Serving advice
Decant or give some air before drinking. Best to open it an hour or so before drinking. OR pour a large glass and watch it change over the next few hours.

- Angels have come to the rescue of Luke who had to take on the role of both Chief Winemaker and CEO after the sudden death of his father - Coonawarra winemaking Icon Patrick Tocaciu.
- Luke's passion is the regions of Coonawarra and Wrattonbully with the aim of releasing wines when they are drinking at their peak.
- He has won numerous awards over his winemaking career including 7 trophies and dozens of phenomenal Halliday results.
