About the wine
For the moments you want Rosé... without the alcohol
- This non-alc Rosé is refreshingly vibrant, with a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity. Adelaide Hills cherry juice brings a burst of savoury red fruit and a rosy hue, while Murray River Salt adds weight and roundness on the palate, mimicking the mouthfeel of traditional Rosé. Crisp, dry, and full of character, it's a seriously sippable alternative for sunny afternoons, spicy dinners, or booze-free celebrations.
- Crafted from early-picked, old-vine Barossa Semillon and Riesling, this Rosé follows a meticulous, hands-on process to preserve fresh, natural flavours without a drop of alcohol. The Verjus base is chilled, filtered and stabilised before fermentation can begin, making it harder (and costlier) to create than many traditional wines. Cherry juice and spring water are added for perfect balance, flavour and structure, making this one of the most thoughtfully-crafted non-alcs on the market.
- Whether you're the designated driver, cutting back, or just looking for a sophisticated sip without the side effects, this Rosé is made for moments where wine is expected (or even wanted), but alcohol isn't. "It is designed to offer an alcohol free alternative to wine, yet still give you the same or similar aromas and flavours," explains winemaker Josh Pfeiffer. It lasts up to a month in the fridge, plays nicely in mocktails and cocktails, and is a crowd-pleaser with everything from seafood to spicy Thai. Not all non-alcs are created equal, and this one proves just how good the category can get. "If you have tried non-alcs before and not enjoyed them, please don't write the whole category off" Josh shares. "Be open minded, and give this a try."
Best before
This Rosé will be best enjoyed within the next year or two. Having said that, I have been making this since 2022, and my first batch is still looking great 3+ years down the track.
Serving advice
Chill it down, share it with friends. You can serve this on ice, or event with a splash of soda water.
This also makes a great base for Cocktails, adding your favourite white spirit or make a Mocktail to enjoy another alcohol free option.
Food match
This goes really well with a lot of white meat and seafood dishes, but thanks to the natural sweetness of this product, it also handles spicy food really well. Thai beef salad is a great match for this!

Meet the winemaker - Josh Pfeiffer
- When the pandemic left Josh’s family wines in need of new homes, Angels came to the rescue and scooped them up. His brush with Naked freedom was enough to make him want to stay, and it was a special day when Angels welcomed him to the family for good!
- Josh is a talented winemaker with four generations of Barossa grape-growers blood flowing through his veins. He’s taking a fresh approach to traditional wines, backed by barrels of passion and industry know-how from iconic wineries.
- From growing up on a Penfolds vineyard to working at Henschke and helping put his family winery on the map, it’s no surprise he landed a spot on the Top 50 Young Guns of Wine list - three years in a row. What a rockstar!
