About the wine
Light, flirty red from WA

- This wine in three words:

- The fruit came from a vineyard in the “apple capital” of the south west, where beautiful rolling hills are lined with vines against a stunning bush backdrop. The gorgeous grapes were hand-picked by an amazing team, including Kym herself.
- The fermenting wine was plunged gently by foot and then left on lees (the dead yeast) for a few months before bottling. It's been made without the use of oak to retain the bright berry characters of the wine.
- This delicious drop is a juicy, light red, full of strawberry and cherry characters and a tiny touch of tannin. Try it slightly chilled - it can accommodate!

Meet the winemaker - Kym Carr
- Rooted in Margaret River, shaped by the world - A lifelong connection to Margaret River, refined by a formative Beaujolais vintage and 25+ years working with some of the region's most respected wineries. "I love wines with texture and body, the kind that make you want to sip slowly and savour every mouthful. That's why I always work with solids and lees to build richness, whether the wine is hanging out in oak or chilling in a tank - it's all about giving each wine a little extra character and soul," says Kym.
- A true one-woman winemaking force - Founder of Dream Bird Wines, Kym does it all: sourcing fruit, making the wine, bottling, labelling, and delivering, with total respect for vineyard and craft. "People are over the big, faceless brands and they are craving a story in their glass. Just like food, wine is becoming personal again - drinkers want to know where it comes from and feel a real connection to it. It's exciting to be a part of that shift."
