About the wine
Rich & sophisticated McLaren Vale red
No expense has been spared in producing this classic Cabernet, sourced from two of the finest spots in McLaren Vale where the vines have flourished for more than 25 years. The depth of flavor those wiley grapes give is amazing!
Aged in both new and old French oak barrels for over a year, the result is a rich and complex red. Pour a glass to unleash bucketfuls of blackberries, mulberries, dark plums and herbaceous notes, finished off with a shake of spice and elegant tannins.
Sophisticated when required and approachable enough for a midweek treat, this big-hearted Cabernet Sauvignon is sure to become a favorite in no time.
Best before
The structure of the wine is perfect for ageing, and while it drinks beautifully now, it can also be cellared for 8 to 10 years.
Serving advice
If you have time, pop it in a decanter for a short while, but it won't take long to open up and perform as its best!
Food match
Cabernet Sauvignon offers the perfect match with lamb, with the tannins and acidity helping to cut through the richness of the lamb - think slow cooked Moroccan lamb shanks!

Meet the winemaker - Bec Hardy
Bec Hardy’s family tree reads like the Who’s Who of South Australian winemaking. Her great-great-great grandfather, Thomas Hardy, made his first wine in South Australia in 1857, kick-starting the state’s wine industry.
Like all the best ‘wine kids’, Bec grew up on the family property, helping out anywhere they’d let her, from training vines to cleaning tanks. But it was her green fingers that steered her down the vine-covered path to success.
Bec’s wines capture the essence of her stunning Tipsy Hill vineyard in Blewitt Springs and the places her forefathers toiled to establish South Australia’s wine industry.
