The result is a wine of glorious power and elegance with just the right balance of oak. Ripe pear and white peach are intertwined with smoked cashew notes and the finish is fresh and mouth-puckeringly clean.

A wine from a vineyard of such pedigree, combined with the level of winemaking input and attention to detail would usually set you back $35-$45. You can take it for a spin for a lot less, because YOU made it happen!
Best before
Being such a fruit driven style, the wine is best drunk young to get its full flavour impact. There is however plenty of natural structure and palate weight to confidently cellar for the next 7-10 years.
Serving advice
My advice would be not to drink this wine too cold (Australians tend to drink their whites too cold). Take the wine out of the fridge half an hour before dinner and allow it to reach around 12 deg C - that way you will get the full flavour spectrum.
Food match
A rich Green Chicken curry (not too spicy) would be a good match. The natural structure and flavour spectrum is well suited to richer white meat dishes.

Meet the winemaker - Mike & Callum Garland
Father, Mike (‘Babbo’), spent the last 14 vintages at Castelli Estate in Denmark, WA, creating wines like their ‘Il Liris’ Chardonnay that won Best White in the 2020 AND 2021 International Wine & Spirit Competition. He’s in demand with other leading WA wineries like Rockcliffe, Singlefile and Plantagenet too.
Mike’s son Callum (‘Mimmo’) is snapping eagerly at his heels - an up-and-coming winemaker in his own right. He’s already up to his ears in grape juice, learning the ropes from one of the real characters of the business in Geelong.
Now, thanks to the backing of thousands of appreciative Angels across Australia, they can come together to create outstanding cool climate wines from the juiciest vineyards in WA's Great Southern region, and Victoria. “That’s so precious and it wouldn’t have happened for many years without the Angels.” says Mike. That's why the wines are just for you.
