About the wine
Big, robust and a little bit different
- Angels, Adrian & Rebecca have delivered a dreamy drop with a whole lotta attitude. Deep brooding flavours of bramble and dark spicy fruit are teamed with balanced oak, earthy notes and strong tannins.
- Certainly one to decant, this wine has a long life ahead of it! Give it time, slow the pace and kick your feet up while it breathes. Perfect to serve with hearty meals or good quality cheese.
- Durif is a hybrid variety that originates in France, although it is not grown there so much these days. It is now grown extensively throughout Australia and the California - it loves a warm climate. Durif produces small berries with thick skins, so creates quite bold, deep colored and tannic wines.

Will certainly reward 5-8 years of cellaring.
Serving advice
Decant. Decant. Decant. This is still a very young wine and most definitely benefits from a good few hours breathing time before serving to help soften those young tannins a little and bring it all back into balance. A few years in the cellar will also do the trick.

Meet the winemaker - Adrian & Rebecca Santolin
- Boy (Adrian) meets Girl (Rebecca) are on the ride of their lives raising their family while living and breathing their other passion - wine! As one of the first teams to hop aboard the Naked train in 2012, they continue to amaze, inspire and fill our glasses with glorious wines.
- The pair have been involved in winemaking for over 15 years and always dreamt of making their own wine. Now, thanks to the backing of Naked Angels, they're finally living the dream! Their wine is dedicated to their family, and of course any Angel who has helped make it all possible.
- In just 8 high-paced years, the couple have gone from producing a handful of Pinot Noir cases to quenching the thirst of 1000's of people around the country. Since 2012, they've sold more than 2 million bottles and won 10 trophies, 47 Gold medals, 53 Silver medals and 120 Bronze. Wow!
