Meet the winemaker - Kevin McCarthy
- Word of the burgeoning Mornington Peninsula region with its cool maritime climate piqued Kevin’s interest and, along with wife and fellow winemaker Kathleen Quealy, they extrapolated that Australia finally had the ideal home for Pinot G.
- Kevin, ever the heretic, continues along the path less travelled, inspired by winemaking experiences around the globe. Kevin's winemaking family all share his passion for Italian varietals.
- What does Naked mean to Kevin? The vocal and libationary support of Kevin's early customers was a key ingredient for the success of Pinot G in Australia. Direct contact prior to Naked required a visit to the winery, extolling the Pinot G message one glass at a time. Naked has transformed how Kevin interacts with PinotG lovers, allowing him to share the Heresy story with Angels while they experience the wines.
