Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Refreshing crowd-pleasing SA drop
- A light and easy-drinking style of Rosé made from the varieties Josh believes are best suited to the region and wine style - Grenache and Mataro. Sourced from long time connections of his and their top notch Barossa vineyards.
- This drop has a lovely freshness to it, packed with red apple and raspberry characters and a long, dry finish. Just like crunching into a cold red apple! The Mataro brings a lovely savoury edge to the wine.
- The perfect tipple for a warm day - paired with seafood, this lovely drop will please most people round the table (or hide in the fridge and keep it all to yourself ;)
Best before
Rosé is the type of wine that doesn't last long in my cellar... Nor is it designed to be aged for any extended period of time. I would be drinking this within the first 2-3 years of its life to enjoy this wine at its best- fruit driven and primary.
Serving advice
Best served chilled. Perfect for a sunny day, but also works well slightly warmer on cooler days.
Food match
This wine screams scallops to me. with a nice burnt butter sauce and some bacon pieces.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Josh Pfeiffer
- When the pandemic left Josh’s family wines in need of new homes, Angels came to the rescue and scooped them up. His brush with Naked freedom was enough to make him want to stay, and it was a special day when Angels welcomed him to the family for good!
- Josh is a talented winemaker with four generations of Barossa grape-growers blood flowing through his veins. He’s taking a fresh approach to traditional wines, backed by barrels of passion and industry know-how from iconic wineries.
- From growing up on a Penfolds vineyard to working at Henschke and helping put his family winery on the map, it’s no surprise he landed a spot on the Top 50 Young Guns of Wine list - three years in a row. What a rockstar!
