About the wine
Inaugural classic Clare Riesling!
- Noses at the ready - this Riesling is an aromatic delight! This is its inaugural release, and is the first time the legendary Jen Pfeiffer has made a Riesling outside of her home state of Victoria.
- The Hero Riesling is classically Clare Valley, infused with Jen’s rocking redhead personality! A bouquet of fresh grapefruit, lime, jasmine and apple blossom entices you in, and a palate abundant with Nashi pear, lime juice, minerality and a lengthy finish will keep you coming back for more.
- This Hero Riesling is begging to be drunk now. Enjoy every sip of another wine made possible by Angel backing!

Best before
My Hero Riesling is delicious drinking now, and it will age gracefully through to 2032. As an older wine, my Hero will develop beautiful lemon curd, honeycomb and toast flavours and a more viscous/textural palate as the acidity softens.
Serving advice
I recommend serving my 2025 Hero Riesling with a light chill (say 8-10°C) on a cooler evening, and straight out of the fridge or ice bucket (around 4°C) when the weather is hot!
Food match
My Hero Riesling is an excellent food wine. I love it with a zucchini and preserved lemon risotto, or a dry red curry with seafood. It's also delicious on its own as an aperitif.

Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
