About the wine
Two fruits coming together to form a perfect Kiss!
-
Winemaker Tash Mooney has crafted a wonderfully fresh, light Red that’s ready to be poured! Her skillful hand selected 10% Sangiovese for this enjoyable drop, which adds a great lift of red fruits.
-
The Shiraz and Sangiovese were blended in the winery and co-fermented with a focus at maintaining a fresh, aromatic wine. The result is a lovely light and bright drop, with a great depth of flavour.
-
Adelaide Hills proved the perfect region for fruit for Tash’s Italian Kiss. Tash used older, valuable vines for her fruit selection, keenly selecting only the best parcels of grapes for the most intensely flavoured result.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Tash Mooney
- Possessing silky skills, a visionary eye and laser-like determination, Tash has been making ground-breaking wines since 1992. She’s racked up vast winemaking experience from the Hunter Valley, Mildura, Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley in Australia, to Oregon in the US, Chile and South Africa.
- Along the way she’s accumulated a trophy cabinet bursting with awards – among them, being included in the Wine Spectator Top 10 Wines of the Year in the US with a wine from her time at Barossa Valley Estate between 1996 and 2002.
- With a rock solid apprenticeship mentored by the likes of Philip Shaw, ex-Rosemount, and Wayne Falkenberg of Lindemans, it’s no surprise that Tash has developed a canny ability to tap into the styles that wine drinkers are craving. She's helping to shape the current and future direction of Australian wine and now the Angels get a taste of that!
