Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Beautifully aged cool climate Cabernet
-
If you’re after a Cabernet Sauvignon with a bit of age, but don’t have the patience to wait… this wine is for you! The cellaring has already been done, so all you need to do is grab your biggest glasses, sit back, and enjoy.
-
This is a medium-bodied beauty that’s everything you want from a cool climate Cabernet. It’s dark and brooding, with cassis and black plum, roasted capsicum and pencil shavings. It offers up fine tannins, a generous backbone and a long finish.
-
This is a wine for every occasion… those nights when you just want to sit back and sip on something nice, or the bottle you can share with family and friends. Crack it open at your next BBQ, or whip up a cheeseboard to enjoy while watching some TV.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
