Boutique sparkling Tasmanian cider
- Get ready for a cool glass of apple and pear joy! Tasmanian cider from small producers like Cynthea and David doesn't usually get to the mainland. Get in quick as it's only made in tiny amounts.
- This sparkling cider is made from premium fruit grown in the Tamar Valley, and blended to perfection. It's made from 80% apple and 20% pear juice - Gala for sweetness and flavour, Granny Smith for crunchy acidity, Jazz for tang and tartness and Pink Lady for appley sweetness. The Beurre Bosch pear brings fresh texture and body to the lot.
- This is a real summer classic - slightly sweeter than a traditional dry cider with a lovely blossom note and a tangy finish. Perfect for sunny afternoons or the end of a hot busy day.
Best before
Cider such as ours with some residual sweetness from natural apple juice are best consumed young and vivacious and still with vibrant freshness. As they age they will become more honeyed in style.
Serving advice
Serve really chilled and if you like to add ice we recommend you freeze grapes and throw them into the glass so that the cider is not diluted from the melting ice cubes rather, it is kept cold by the grapes and you can eat them later!!!
Food match
We have had this cider with locally grown pork chops and salad in summer with grilled nectarines and it is sublime! we also can't go past an early tipple of cider on Christmas morning for breakfast when you don't want to get too tipsy early but its nice to have something bubbly and cold with breakfast!
