Stu Bourne explains what Stop the Squeeze means to him
Save Langhorne Creek’s finest and help Stuey pay it forward too.
The popular Barossa Winemaker of the Year and his three mates watched helplessly as eagerly awaited orders from respected contacts in China dried up, leaving the perfect wine he’d created for them stuck in barrels in the shed.
“All our hard work and all that beautiful wine just sitting there, devaluing and potentially not even finding a home. Worst case scenario was we’d have to pour it down the drain and everyone would have lost out. Could you imagine that? It’s heartbreaking,” he told us.
Will you give the stunning reds a new home?
You’ll be supporting his grower mates too. Because by helping plug this gaping hole in Stuey’s pocket, he can ‘pay it forward’ and buy more of his grower friend's fruit.
Make no mistake, you’re getting two stunning blends here... a succulent 2019 Cabernet Merlot, full of soft, dark fruit, a touch of exotic spice and a long, round finish, and a bold 2019 Shiraz Cabernet, packed with ripe dark berry flavours, a whiff of spice and a classic tannin overcoat.
Can you offer a good home to these two reds by this good soul and his mates? In return you’ll get sensational wine and Stuey gets the support to help sustain his business and local growers.
