Daryl Groom’s D.R.G reds are back.

The man behind Grange releases his rare gems

Every year, Daryl’s sublime D.R.G. Barossa Shiraz and Zinfandel Shiraz disappear in a matter of days.

Why? Because he’s one of Australia’s best winemakers. He’s clocked up more than 35 years winemaking experience, including being Penfold’s Senior Red Winemaker in the 80s.

His 1986 Grange was arguably one of the top three ever made.

And now he’s making wine for you!

These outstanding reds hail from Daryl’s own estate vineyard in the Kalimna area of the Barossa Valley — home to some of Australia’s greatest Shiraz vineyards.

D.R.G Barossa Shiraz 2020 is a classic Aussie Shiraz — big, bold, juicy and rich. It’s packed with black fruits, licorice, mocha and vanilla, with some caramel and smokiness from the barrels.

D.R.G Barossa Zinfandel Shiraz 2020 is a unique blend, oozing with bright red fruit and a shake of pepper and spice. Soft, smooth and oh so easy to drink.

The Angel price for wines of this calibre belies how unbelievably good they are.

We’ve had to cap orders at 6 bottles of each per Angel so everyone gets a fair go. Check out yours now.
