Thomas Hordern Wiley Rooster Chardonnay 2011
About the wine
In very limited supply
- Thomas, the Wiley Rooster is a young gun, born in to the Aussie wine industry. Naked funding has enabled him to go out on his own.
- Beautiful aromas of peach, apricot and butterscotch, there is also a slight hint of oak which lingers. The wine is full in the mouth, with a great balance of fruit and oak. There is just enough acid to keep it fresh.
- This entry level chardonnay showcases Thomas' cunning ability to create lip smackingly delicious wines at incredibly low prices. Raise a glass, or two, for the Wiley Rooster - but be quick, his first release wines are in VERY limited supply.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Thomas Hordern
- Born into a winemaking family, Thomas has been up to his ears in grape juice all his life and active in the business for over 15 years. His intimate knowledge of the Hunter grape growing region is next level.
- His true passion, and lifelong dream, was one day to summon up the courage to go 100% Naked. He instinctively believed there had to be a better way than slogging away working for the ‘man’.
- When his day job came to a halt, Angel funding came to the rescue and Thomas is now fully Naked and fully focused on crafting thousands of cases of Angel-exclusive Wiley Rooster NSW deliciousness.
